Warmachine New Braunfels

This is my blog about playing Warmachine in New Braunfels, Texas. I also have a Warhammer 40K New Braunfels blog at www.warhammer-newbraunfels.blogspot.com ... I have to say that I love Warhammer 40K and have had great fun playing it. That being said, I think that Warmachine in a better game... the game mechanics are simply more elegant...

Circle Warriors

I am finishing up John's Circle Battle Box and I have to say that these are the best models I've ever painted. Privateer Press makes the best models I have ever seen. I painted these models with a fairly straight-forward color scheme, applied the Dip, and then covered them with Dull-Cote. As I said, I am very proud of these pieces... it is hard to believe that I painted them for someone else... KJC

New Braunfels WARMACHINE

We've now been playing Warhammer 40K for a year. I'd seen a lot of Warmachine miniatures at Central Command Games and have had in the back of my mind a desire to play the game. Jesse had been expressing a desire to try something else besides 40K also. He asked me what I thought about WARMACHINE. I said I'd be willing to give it a go if he took the lead on this game just as I had on 40K. Jesse picked up the rulebook at CC, bought some models, and gave me a Cryx set for my birthday. Away we go! Go to my main blog page to see pictures of my models and more about the wargames we play here in New Braunfels, Tx. My main blog is www.warhammer-newbraunfels.blogspot.com
